This paper will recap the advantages of a file based workflow examining the fundamentals necessary to succeed with conversion to file based operations.We will also present a case study of one customer’s conversion from SD to HD and from tape to files and the resulting benefits that we achieved as well as the obstacles that had to be overcome.

面向三网融合的互动电视平台Interactive Television Platform Facing Tri-networks Integration

演讲概要

随着国家对“三网融合”的推进，电信和广电运营商将对其业务进行扩展，全面覆盖视频、语音通信和数据服务等方面。但是面对终端用户，如何把三网融合业务在家庭中有效融合，并实现开放和可扩展的整体运营是一个重大挑战。

因此需要对目前的三网融合业务进行深入分析，定义和开发真正能够把三种应用融合在一起的用户终端设备，为普通家庭提供功能先进、成本低廉的多业务服务。

电视应用经历了数字化、高清化和互动化后，以其高质量传输和双向互动的特性，将会成为三网融合的重要组成部分。针对这种发展趋势，我们首先对机顶盒平台提升性能并扩展功能，发展为多业务终端，使其能够圆满地承载起传统的互联网业务和增值语音通信等业务，未来此多业务终端将会伴随着国家三网融合政策的明晰而走进千家万户。

With our country pushing forward the" tri-networks integration ", telecommunications and broadcasting operators will expand their business, comprehensively covering video, voice communication and data service. However, in the face of end-user, it is a major challenge that how to make tri-networks integration business into families efficiently and realize open and expansively overall operation.

Therefore, it requires to analyze in depth the current tri-networks integration business, definite and develop a user terminal equipment that can really put together three types of applications to offer ordinary families advanced and low-cost multi-business services.

After experiencing digitization, high-definition and interaction, with high-quality transmission and two-way interactive features, television application will become an essential component of tri-networks integration. In response, improving the performance and enhancing the function of the set-top box platform and shaping ourselves as a multi-service terminal would be our first choice, thus we have the ability to successfully take on such business activities as traditional Internet and value-added voice communication etc.. It is predicted that In the future, with the perspicuity of the government policy of tri-networks integration, multi-service terminal will be widely accepted by millions of families.
